Rimmel are a brand that I don't often buy from. They're my run to brand and they've never let me down. I always run to them when I'm in need of a quality make-up item but at a budget price. I've always been quite impressed with their products, but as I say, I don't own that many.
Kate Moss has brought out 7 new lipsticks with Rimmel, although in my Boots they only had 3 shades. They come in simple black packaging with 'Kate' printed in red:
These lipsticks actually cost less than a normal Rimmel lipstick. They cost £5.49 each, and if you can't make your mind up Boot's have them on a 3 for 2 offer at the moment. I decided on a deep red lipstick, as most my lipsticks are brighter red, this looked a darker colour.
It really is a gorgeous shade of red. Being blonde red lipsticks really suit me, so I mainly stick with them. I actually use a Rimmel Lip Liner for my red lipsticks, it works a treat and was really cheap!
This red actually came out lighter than I expected it too. It's still a lovely colour though and I've been wearing it loads since buying it. It creates great statement lips.
The wear time isn't the best I have to be honest. Although for around a fiver your wear time isn't going to be amazing. The lipstick lasts around 3-4 hours, then it starts becoming flaky. This hasn't stopped me wearing it though! I love the colour so much I don't mind reapplying often.

Since writing this I've brought another lipstick from this collection in 08 and love it! It's a natural but great colour.

ReplyDelete08 is very tempting but don't think i'll indulge, is it wrong that the fact they didn't bother to give them cute names has put me off?! haha Also Kate Moss isn't one of my style icons really, was very disappointed with her Topshop collection :( red looks great on you though! I <3 red lipstick :)

Hehe I see what you mean! Kate Moss should be imaginative enough to think of great names. Although Rimmel do lack cute names with their products.
