New collections always excite me! Spring/Summer collections are currently starting to be released, which have to be my favourite collections. They're always so colourful, adding life and colour to your face as the weather (hopefully) warms up.
One particular company that have really caught my eye with their new collection is Paul and Joe, with their kitten collection. A whole collection based around cats - amazing! Cats are loved by many and are ever so cute, the perfect inspiration for a Spring/Summer Collection.

I really couldn't resist this collection, so on a recent trip to London picked up one of the kitten face and eye colours in Kitty Cat - Purple, White and Pink. The colours are very light and not very pigmented, making a swatch picture of the white and pink impossible! I love using these colours for everyday quick and easy looks. I use the pink all over the lid and white along the lash line, adding the purple for a night time look.
I have to be honest, I'm not really impressed with the eyeshadow quality, it falls, isn't pigmented and doesn't last all day (over come by a primer). However the cat is just so cute, I really can't help but use it. The 'Paul and Joe' printing only lasted one brush stroke, slightly disappointing as I didn't want to ruin it. However after a good few uses the cat is still in perfect shape.
Unless Paul and Joe bring out more cute shapes in their eyeshadows, I will not be buying more as the eyeshadow isn't as good as other competitors. However I still love this shadow. I paid £19 for it in Fenwick, it's sold for £21.50 as ASOS 'here'.
Have you also fallen for the Kitten Collection? Have you tried any Paul and Joe products?

I swatched the lipsticks and wasn't impressed with their pigmentation either :/
DeleteThose lipstick designs are AMAZING. I'm a huge cat lover so my heart melted when I just saw this collection. It's quite pricey though, and if pigmentation isn't that great I probably won't purchase. Great pictures though!
