Thanks for tuning in on this beautiful day! It's gorgeous over here in the UK, so hot for March, lets hope it stays this way. Weather like this makes me want to cover myself in pastel colours, I <3 Spring! Totally on topic, Avon have brought out three limited edition lipsticks for Spring.
Avon Colour Ultra Colour Rich Lipstick in Purple Hazed:
The first thing at really struck me about this lipstick is the quality of the packaging. It feels so well made. It's proper sturdy packaging, it screws up and down perfectly, it doesn't feel loose or cheap. It feels 10 times better made than my MAC lipstick, yet it's much cheaper.
I love using this lipstick, it's so creamy and easy to apply. The pigmentation isn't great, however, it's workable. I apply around three coats for a good colour, this doesn't bother me too much as it feels like your applying a lip balm rather than a lipstick.
How about staying power? It isn't great. It doesn't last very long to be honest, I'd say it lasts lip balm length. This lipstick really is more of a pigmented lip balm. Although I'm not complaining, I've really enjoyed using it, and the lip balm texture will be perfect for summer.
The colour is Purple Haze and is totally gorgeous. It's a pastel lilac colour and is probably the best colour out of the Spring collection. It's different and can be worn easily. Avon Colour Ultra Colour Rich Lipsticks cost £7 each, although Avon very often have their products on offer. You can buy this lipstick 'here'.
Have you ever tried a Avon lipstick? What do you think to their Spring collection?
Becca :) x
Disclosure: I brought this lipstick myself.
