MUA Love Hearts Lip Balms

Everyone loves a good bargain, especially us students! So when it comes to bargain beauty products, I'm constantly on the look out. 

One brand that have really taken the beauty world by storm is MUA. Being a budget beauty brand their products range from around £1-£4. MUA are well known for their eyeshadow palettes, even being seen as competition for Urban Decay. Recently MUA teamed up with Love Hearts to being out a new collection of products (see event post 'here').  

One of their new products in the collection is Love Hearts Lip Balms: 

There are five shades of the lip balm, and they all have cute names, just like the writing on love heart sweets: Sugar Lips, Sweet Kiss, Great Lips, Kiss Me and Hot Lips. The three shades I have are gorgeous pastel shades, which are perfect for summer time, I can't wait to wear them alongside pastel summer outfits.

The balm itself smells absolutely delicious. It's a vanilla scent, which is my favourite scent, ever so sweet and reminds me of baking. However, much to my disappointment they do not taste of vanilla, never mind! The lip balms feel lovely to wear, moisturising your lips and adding a subtle colour at the same time.

The lip balms do come in pots rather than a stick, many people including myself prefer sticks as it's less messy, but I really can't complain as these only cost £2 each! Total bargain. The pots are a good 10g too, they'll last me ages.
