My biggest pet hate when it comes to make-up? When it doesn't last, especially with lipsticks. Another problem with lipsticks is when you eat or drink, they clump and feel awful on the lips, so I often end up removing them anyway. Rimmel have brought out a new lip tint, which, could banish all my lip product problems.
Rimmel 1000 Kisses in Perpetual Plum:
First of all, thanks Rimmel for sending me such a gorgeous shade. Perpetual Plum is a dark pink, which can be built up with extra coats for a more intense colour, it suits me perfectly, and would suit many pink lovers alike.
Now, what comes to your mind when you think 'Lip Tint'? I know for me it's 'urgggh drying!' The clever people at Rimmel have attached a lip balm to the end of the lip tint, to prevent any drying the tint may cause, genius! It means you don't need to carry a lip balm around with you too, just throw the lip tint in your bag and you'll be away.
The main aim Rimmel want from this lip tint is lastability. Named '1000 Kisses' for a reason, this lip tint is meant to be transferproof, meaning you can par-take in 1000 kisses and your lip tint will still be present. The lastability is much better than that of a lipstick, I normally don't have to apply the tint again until late afternoon, which, is good going. It survives all the ups and the downs of your day, and sticks on in there keeping you looking gorgeous all day.
The main attraction for me is the fact that it doesn't clump. Lipstick tends to clump when you eat or drink, causing me to remove it. The lip tint doesn't clump at all, so feels effortless to wear, it feels so natural to have on your lips, I love it!

Thanks for posting this. I love the Max Factor Lip tints but they are really drying, seems like this might be a good alternative x
ReplyDeleteThat shade looks AMAZING on you Becca, seriously. I struggle to pull off any lipstick or lip tint, apart from sheer bronzes, so pens would just look silly. I have to say, I'm a tiny bit jealous of people who can pull them off :P

DeleteYep I have one too, couldn't resist it when I was in Boots quite a while back. As so many times when I have lipstick on, my boyfriend can't kiss me, as I am like you mess up my make up lol. So needless to say he was happy, I also have Gosh that's lip proof.x
