After such a fabulous day on Tuesday, I trotted along again on Wednesday to Manchester Fashion Week. On Wednesday I met Rosie Glow again and met Becca from the Fashion Train. In all I managed to see all four catwalks on Wednesday. The first catwalk was Alex Christopher, and I'm glad to tell you, these photos are much better than my earlier post!
Alex Christopher is a designer from Sheffield, his clothes are available exclusively from Each To Their Own boutiques and online 'here'. I preferred the male collection to the female collection. The females collection just wasn't my thing really, it was mainly evening wear, consisting of mostly (short) dresses, nothing about the females collection really excited me. Although the female models hair styles looked great, the up styles really suited the style of clothing.
I couldn't get enough of the mens collection (which, of course, had nothing to do with the male models ;) promise!). The males collection was daytime street style, and I really liked what Alex Christopher had to offer for males. It was on trend, but also with his own twist. The v-neck tops were my favourite, as the v-neck was to the side rather than central (4th picture down, 2 across). I've shown by boyfriend this collection and he really liked it too. For designer wear the clothes are pretty well priced, at £55 for the v-neck tops it's affordable luxury.
Have you seen any of Alex Christopher's collections before? What do you think to the female or male collection?
Becca :) x
Disclosure: Press/VIP guest list for Masato and House of Herlihy, MCRFW also allowed me to go and see the other shows on Wednesday.
