If you can remember at the end of April, I was rambling on about L'Occitane's new Pivoine Delicate Collection (as seen 'here') and said I was tempted by the Eau De Toilette. While in Nottingham last weekend I nipped into L'Occitane, and as soon as I smelt this gorgeous perfume, it had to be mine.
The scent is a light and delicate floral scent, it's really sweet and fluffy (I don't think fluffy is a recognised perfume description but you know what I mean right?). The perfume comes in a generous 75mL simple glass bottle. I'm a sucker for pretty perfume bottles, and my L'Occitane Delice Des Fleurs has a gorgeous bottle, but this one is a little simple. Some people love this, personally I'd have liked it if L'Occitane made this bottle a little different for the limited collection.
What makes this perfume so much better than my current L'Occitane perfumes is that it lasts. My Delice Des Fleurs has the most gorgeous scent, but you can't smell it three hours later. This Pivoine Delicate perfume lasts all day easily. I can still smell it at the end of the day, it's so refreshing and really lifts your sprits at the end of a long day.
I'm quite impressed with the price. This costs £34.00 for 75mL which, isn't the cheapest. However, you could pay so much more. It's a reasonable price for such a beautiful perfume. You can buy this in L'Occitane stores and 'here'.
What do you think to this new collection? Isn't the packaging gorgeous? Have you managed to smell any of this collection yet?
Disclosure: I bought this myself.
