Current Favourites...

I don't do this very often, it's surely not a monthly thing. Some of my favourites really don't change that often. Recently, I've gained quite a few must-have products, so thought I'd share my current favourites with you. Some of these I've reviewed, some will be reviewed, some I won't be reviewing as I have no good pictures. Hope you enjoy :D!

favourites make-up

Complexion Make-Up:

Clinique Stay Matte Pressed Powder (£21.00) - This is Clinique's #1 best-selling powder. I've had it for a while, it's nearly gone now :(. I use it over my Lancome foundation for an all day matte, or alone for a half day matte. What I love about this powder is that it's very easy to use, I have the invisible shade and just quickly dust over for a completely matte look - I'm a bit matte obsessed, not a dewy look person!

MAC Hey Sailor Highlighter (£21.50) - Only my second powder highlighter, and I love it. When swirled together the powder is a light pink colour with a subtle shimmer, perfect for applying on top of blusher. I'll be quite unhappy when the overlay wears away, I'm just hoping the shimmer makes the powder still useable without the overlay (review 'here').

Benefit Boi-ing Concealer (£16.50) - My staple concealer, I'd be lost without it. It covers absolutely everything and stays put too. I use this under my eyes as well, even though I own Benefits Erase Paste, I find this concealer lighter and more comfortable to wear. Benefit have extended the amount of shades in this concealer too, give it a go if you're looking for a good all round concealer (review 'here').

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H (£27.00) - This foundation generally keeps my face matte all day. I will review this soon! I'd recommend it to anyone with oily skin thats difficult to control.

Other Make-Up:

Lancome Doll Eyes Mascara (£21.00) - An expensive mascara but worth it. I apply around three coats to lengthen and curl my lashes. The formula doesn't weigh my lashes down, meaning your lashes stay curled for much longer. The brush catches all the lashes and the formula doesn't flake, so no panda eyes! Even with my lashes flickering against my glasses, this mascara doesn't budge (review 'here').

MAC Hey Sailor Red Racer Lipstick (£14.00) - I have to admit, I bought this lipstick purely for the packaging, isn't it gorgeous?! The nautical theme is bang on trend right now, and MAC played with that when bringing out this collection. I've fallen in love with this red, I wear it so much now, it really compliments my complexion. It lasts a really long length too (review 'here').

favourites body products

Body Products:

Nuxe Reve De Miel Body Cream (£19.00)* - This is the most amazing moisturising body product, it smells gorgeous and moisturises effortlessly. It's literally just ran out, sob sob. I love Nuxe products, they're not often raved about but their products do work. This one smells of freshly cut flowers and is just a dream. Such a shame about the high price tag, I do have to ration myself with it (review 'here').

L'Occitane Delice Des Fruits Body Cream* - From L'Occitanes Christmas 2011 collection. One of my favourite L'Occitane collections that I've raved on about so much. The body cream is light and absorbs really easily leaving the skim soft and smooth. The scent is a very sweet fruity scent, it's ever so gorgeous, but very very sweet - not everyones taste, but I LOVE IT!

Sanctuary Body Scrub (£5.25) - I received this in one of the Sanctuary Christmas sets from Boots, which, my mother bought me. I love this scrub for the tube more than anything, the tube makes it really easy to use, you just squeeze the scrub out and use. When it's a tub it drive me crazy, you have to scoop scrub out and it all goes under your nails and everywhere. It's a gentle scrub with a energising fruity smell, and a fantastic price tag.

favourites facial care

Facial Skincare:

Garnier Pure Active Cleanser (£4.99) - I picked this up a few weeks ago on a Boots trip, I was looking for a good BHA (Salicylic Acid) cleanser. BHA is fab for oily skin as its exfoliates the skin by encouraging the cells in the outer layers to shed more readily, it's a chemical exfoliator so doesn't contain lots of little beads that tend to annoy oily skin. This is 2% salicylic acid which is highly concentrated and such be used with SPF, it's really brightened my skin and I'll be reviewing soon.

REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Face Mask (£30.00)* - This is an AHA mask, AHA is better for ageing skin, but I also love using it as it brightens and also breaks down dead skin cells to reveal a fresh layer of skin (which, will need SPF). I use this once a week, it's perfect for helping to brighten and really re-fresh my skin, I can feel a big difference after using this, and it's lasting ages so worth every penny. I will be reviewing this soon!

REN Clarifying Toning Lotion (£18.00)* - I really can't recommend this lotion enough, it's perfect for people suffering with combination or oily skin. I don't want to give away too much as I'm reviewing this product soon, but it's seriously my MOST favourite product right now.

favourite facial care

Facial Moisturiser/Oils:

Neal's Yard Rehydrating Rose Daily Moisture (£22.50 for 100mL, above is 45mL) - This was a free gift in Marie Claire a while back now. It's recommended for normal skin, and I wasn't really anticipating it being any good. But, I love this moisturiser, it actually helps to balance out my skin, it absorbs easily and makes my skin feel soft and comfortable. I normally use it at night as it's lacking SPF.

No7 Beautiful Skin Day Cream Normal/Oily (£12.50) - My favourite day cream for oily skin, not only does it balance and help keep my oil at bay, it actually contains SPF 15 AND 5 star UVA protection. So often brands bring out 'day creams' which contain no sun protection at all, it drives me mad. When I found this cream I was extremely happy with finding such a product, then I wasn't sure on it for a while, it's a pretty average moisturiser but the sun protection pushes it up (review 'here').

REN Bio Retinoid Anti-Aging Concentrate (£42.00)* - Another REN product, I'm really enjoying using these products and the longer I use them, the more I fall in love with the products. I apply this oil in the evening after cleansing, it's really helped to brighten my skin and even my skin tone. It's not too badly priced either compared to it's competitors (review 'here').

favourite perfume

Favourite Perfume:

L'Occitane Pivoine Delicate Eau De Toilette (£34.00) - I've banged on about this scent too much now. It's a perfect summer scent, sweet and floral. L'Occitane really never let me down (review 'here').

What are your current favourites? Do you own any of these products? What do you think to them?

If you can spare a minute please vote for me 'here'. I'll love you forever and ever :D.

Disclosure: For ease I've marked PR samples with an *, as always my reviews are 100% honest and these products are in my favourites post purely because they are my favourites.

  4. Benefit Bo-ing is a major staple in my make-up bag too! I adore it so much. I have erase paste also; I find it a bit heavy too but I add the teeniest bit of moisturiser to it to make it less cakey.
